As part of a new sponsorship contract, a smart bed will be provided to each and every NFL player

 

Yesterday, an announcement was made regarding a sponsorship partnership between the NFL and Sleep Number Corp. As part of this relationship, which will last for five years, a Sleep Number 360 smart bed will be provided to each and every NFL player.

The company, which is situated in Minnesota, is now the 27th official partner of the National Football League. It now ranks alongside companies such as Nike, PepsiCo, and Marriott International. Over the course of its history, the company has experienced rapid expansion, and it today has over 4,000 employees working in over 550 locations across the United States.

According to Roger Goodell, the commissioner of the National Football League (NFL), “We are continuously analyzing world-class technology and partners and know this unprecedented alliance will allow athletes the potential to improve their performance through tailored, smarter sleep.”

“We are offering the groundbreaking technology developed by Sleep Number to maximize the body’s most fundamental requirement for rejuvenation—sleep—in order to boost the well-being of our players and coaches,”

The heart and breathing rates of the sleeper, as well as their presence and level of restfulness, are monitored hundreds of times per second by biometric sensors that are embedded into Sleep Number mattresses. The companion app provides insights and makes suggestions on how to obtain a better night’s sleep, and it makes these available in the morning.

The National Football League (NFL) players and trainers will collaborate with Sleep Number to better incorporate sleep information into their training and performance routines. Additionally, the corporation has entered into similar collaboration agreements with the Minnesota Vikings and the Dallas Cowboys.

Sleep Number beds are known for their ability to provide superior support and comfort to sleepers.
