The LG V40 ThinQ will be introduced at LG’s normal fall presentation, which will take place the following week. It has now been revealed that the company will take advantage of the occasion to introduce the LG Watch W7 along with the smartphone.
The gadget first appeared in April under the name LG Watch Smartwatch. This hybrid smartwatch combines mechanical hands with a full round color touchscreen, unlike the company’s other smartwatches.

Since then, not much has been said about the device, but it is once again making headlines. according to a new tweet from tipster Evan Blass, the gadget will debut the following week under the name LG Watch W7.
If you are unfamiliar with Blass, he is a Venture Beat journalist who has a strong track record of making similar predictions. Blass withheld the technical details, but he didn’t have to. Since April, we have had pretty much all the information there is to know about the impending smartphone.
The watch will have a 1.2-inch, 390 x 390 pixel touchscreen display that will run Wear OS, according to an exclusive report from Android Headlines. The watch will have a stainless steel body and be fairly large, measuring 45 x 45 x 12.9mm.
The physical needles on the display will use quartz movement, which is quite exact, to tell the time. Additionally, you can use them as a timer and for information on altitude, barometric pressure, a compass, and more. Battery life is one advantage of using a watch-hand combination. The 240 mAh battery will power the smartwatch component for another 100 hours before running out of power.

The LG Watch W7 will be equipped with a nine-axis motion sensor, 4GB of internal storage, and 768MB of RAM. You’ll have to be content with basic fitness tracking and carry your phone with you to make payments because there is no mention of a GPS, NFC, or heart rate sensor. Whether the hybrid will use the Snapdragon Wear 2100 or the upcoming 3100 CPU is not yet known.
Will these whispers and leaks prove to be accurate? The event on October 3rd won’t be here much longer! The smartphone may cost around $250 and be available in colors like New Aurora Black and Cloud Silver.
