It has been rumoured that Xiaomi will also release a Mi Watch Pro edition

The Mi Watch, the first smartwatch to ever bear the Xiaomi brand name, was made available for purchase today. A new rumour suggests, however, that Apple may also be working on a Pro version of the device.

According to recent rumours, Xiaomi will also release a Watch Pro edition.

At an event held today in Beijing, China, Xiaomi officially announced its intention to enter the market for smartwatches. The company introduced the Mi Watch, a high-end wearable device that comes loaded with all of the most recent technological advancements. There is support for e-SIM and LTE, built-in GPS, Qualcomm’s most recent 3100 chipsets, 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of storage space, in addition to a lot of other features. You may learn more about it by reading this article.

When it relates to design, it is reasonable to assert that the corporation has taken a great deal of inspiration from Apple. In point of fact, some people are going so far as to declare the item a lookalike for the Apple Watch. It has a square form with rounded corners, an AMOLED touchscreen measuring 1.78 inches in diameter, a rotating crown, and a button that can serve a variety of purposes. However, in order to accommodate the massive 570mAh battery, it is significantly thicker than the Apple Watch.

The body of the normal edition is constructed from an aluminium alloy, while the back is composed of ceramic. By the end of this year, Xiaomi will also release a more expensive Premium Edition of their smartphone. This one is equipped with a sapphire crystal, a body that is polished stainless steel, and a strap that is also stainless steel. However, it appears that the corporation has more plans in store for the future.

Another watch was mentioned in passing by a leaker (@Digital Chat Station) who has a fairly solid track record with regard to the disclosure of information of this nature. The post that was made on Weibo has now been taken down, but not before it was discovered by GizChina. The Apple-like design of the original Mi Watch has been abandoned for the Mi Watch Pro.

This version features a round dial, which is a significant departure from the design of the previous two iterations of the product. It is not known very much about the specifications, although there are reports that there will be more memory and storage space.

The Mi Watch will be made available in China on November 11th, and the Mi Watch Premium Edition will be available before the end of the year. It is highly likely that the Pro edition will be released not long after that.
