Next Garmin watch to support Spotify is the Forerunner 645 Music

Forerunner 645 Music now offers Spotify. The first Garmin sports watch to gain access to the service was the Fenix 5 Plus earlier in October.

Owners of the device can access the Connect IQ store today and download the Spotify app. You can stream audio to your Bluetooth headset and store it in the app for offline listening. Because of the Forerunner 645 Music’s 500 song storage capacity, you can download a large number of songs.Additionally, users can make playlists and transfer them through WiFi to the Spotify app on their watch.

The service was introduced by Spotify Technology, a Swedish company, roughly ten years ago. Since then, it has rapidly proliferated, and it is now accessible in more than 65 nations. A paid subscription service that includes music downloads, better streaming quality, and fewer advertisements is available in addition to a freemium version with basic capabilities. For a limited time, new Garmin customers can test-drive the premium service for free.

Users of Forerunner 645 Music were previously only able to stream Deezer and iHeartRadio. Nevertheless, there was no method to download songs for offline use. The next device in line for access should be the Garmin Vivoactive 3.
