The Apple Watch now comes with a few Pride Edition bands as well as a new dynamic watch face

Apple has introduced a few unique plaited Watch Pride Edition bands in addition to a vibrant and active watch face. These new features were launched today.

Since some time ago, the company, with headquarters in Cupertino, has been providing substantial assistance to the LGBTQ community and advocacy organizations. Both monetarily and in other respects as well.

The first Apple Watch Pride Edition band was made available in 2016, and subsequent bands followed suit. Today, in conjunction with International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia, the 2021 bands are being made available to the public (IDAHOT). Apple claims that the product they are releasing this year honors the community’s history and the work that still needs to be done.

Nike is releasing a Pride-themed braided version of the Solo Loop and the Sport Loop

Compared to earlier generations, the Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop incorporates a wider variety of colors within its weaving. Apple claims that this was motivated by the variety of identities within the LGBTQ community and the many flags that represent Pride. Stretchable recycled yarn with silicon strands weaved in throughout the strap makes up its construction. This guarantees that it is comfortable as well as long-lasting.

As can be seen in the image to the right, the watch does not have any buckles or clips that need to be adjusted. Just pass the band through your hands like normal. Apple is introducing 12 various lengths of the Braided Solo Loop in order to assure a suitable fit for its customers. Therefore, you need to ensure that you pick the option that best suits you.

The Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop is available in all six of the brand’s original colorways. It features a reflecting yard, which could prove to be useful during those late-evening workouts performed outside.

Apple is also going to release a new face for the Pride Watch. An upgrade to the program is currently responsible for spreading this around. Installing it on your device should be no different than installing any other watch face.

How much? Where can I make a purchase?

The $99 Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop is compatible with the Apple Watch Series 4 and higher and the Apple Watch SE. The Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop, which retails for $49 and is also compatible with Apple Watch Series 3, features the same design and functionality.

Both may be purchased through apple.com and the Apple Store’s mobile app. The date of May 25 marks the beginning of availability in Apple Watch retail stores.
