The FCC has approved the Samsung Galaxy Sport, and renders show the watch in all of its parts

It is anticipated that Samsung will reveal their latest smartwatch in the very near future. A new piece of evidence has surfaced today in the shape of a filing that the corporation made with the FCC. This indicates that a debut in the United States is coming up very soon.

The gadget bears the model number SM-R500 and an initial software version of R500XXEoARL5, both of which are printed on the label. It would appear that work on the Smartwatches began sometime around the beginning of December.

A few images have surfaced on Twitter already, giving us our first peek at what the device may or may not look like in its final form. The renders are allegedly based on “factory data,” as stated by the source OnLeaks, who has a solid track record when it comes to these kinds of leaks. The watch has been given the codename “Pulse,” but Samsung has decided to brand the device Galaxy Sport because it is an improved version of the Gear Sport. This would make it consistent with the name of the Galaxy Watch that has been used.

The color shown here is black, although there may possibly be options in silver, green, and pink gold. This particular model is black. A spherical display is present on the watch, which is something you would anticipate finding on a Samsung product. Even more intriguing is the fact that it has what can only be described as a smooth bezel. As a result, in contrast to its forerunner, the Galaxy Sport might not come with a bezel that can rotate.

Once again, there are two circular buttons on the right, but in contrast to the more rectangular buttons on the Gear Sport, these are spherical in shape. It appears that the band is composed of silicone, which is exactly what you’d anticipate finding in a watch geared toward the fitness industry.

Considering that the watch was just given FCC clearance, the Galaxy Sport should be arriving in the very near future. It is also possible that it will make its debut during the Samsung Unpacked press event that will take place on February 20 with the Galaxy S10 smartphone. Keep an eye out for future announcements as the day draws closer.
