A new iteration of the TicWatch 3 Pro has been made available by Mobvoi. The Sports edition adds support for additional activities and makes some minor adjustments to the underlying algorithms.
Mobvoi Ticwatch 3 has already been released in two different iterations: the Pro GPS, which was introduced in the year 2020, and the Pro Ultra GPS. The latter option features more durable construction and increased speed, and improved performance. This model was presented to the public in October of 2021, and its MIL-STD 810G certification demonstrates that it is a particularly hardy variety.
The business has now stated that there will be yet another installment in the series. TicWatch Pro 3 Sports is the name of the product that it bears.
What’s New is Described Here
As the name of the product suggests, this wristwatch has been modified to provide enhanced support for individuals who enjoy participating in sports. To achieve this goal, a greater emphasis has been placed on promoting a wide variety of physical activity options.
In point of fact, it is capable of monitoring more than one hundred different sports, which is an increase over the previous versions’ maximum of ten (outdoor & indoor running, outdoor & indoor cycling, rope skipping, swimming, indoor walking, rowing, freeStyle, mountain climbing, gymnastics, and yoga). Football, skiing, table tennis, and rugby are just some of the sports that have been chosen to advance to the next round. Each one of them comes with additional training statistics, such as the number of calories burnt, the heart rate, the duration, and exercise-specific indicators.
The TicMotion motion active recognition AI also provides auto-recognition for certain activities, which can be used in conjunction with the other features already mentioned. The activities recognized by the AI are activities such as running, cycling, and walking. In addition, there is an automatic counting feature for exercises such as jumping jacks, skipping rope, and a few more exercises. Stroke recognition and lap recognition are available for swimmers. The algorithm can generate training suggestions for a variety of sports so that you can continue to grow in all of them.
The 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454 x 454-pixel resolution and the second low-power FSTN LCD panel that sits on top of the device are the only aspects that have been carried over from earlier iterations. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 4100 CPU and other common fitness sensors like blood oxygen can be found underneath the hood. In addition, the WearOS watch has a 577mAh battery that can keep it going for up to 72 hours without needing to be recharged. In crucial mode, this increases to a far better period of forty-five days.
The new Mobvoi smartwatch can be pre-ordered in China for a price of 1,999 yuan, which is roughly equivalent to USD 300. We are still awaiting official information to determine whether or not it will also be distributed in other nations.
