Making sense of the packed wearable devices’ specs is becoming increasingly difficult. Gone are the days when you could only choose from a few suppliers. There is now a bewildering array of gadgets available, ranging in price from a few dollars to over $1,000.
We are, in a sense, spoiled for choice. And things are only going to improve from here. In the coming years, fitness trackers and smartwatches will continuously monitor our blood pressure, glucose, hydration, and much more. It may sound unbelievable, but barely a decade ago, a wearable that costs roughly $20–30 would have been unthinkable.
We’ve put together a database of some of the most popular wearables on the market to help you choose the appropriate one. It can be found on either the Brands or the Compare Tool pages. You can use the tool to filter and compare devices both within and across brands.
Simply tick the Add to Compare box next to the wearable of your choice to select a few that intrigue you. Choose as many as you like. When you’re ready, hit the “Compare Now” button in the hidden panel on the right-hand side of the screen to see the comparison.
An example of a common comparison may be seen below. It’s only a portion of the picture; the comparison includes all of the device’s technical specifications. Everything from the technical specifications (display, water resistance, size, weight, battery life, and so on) to the colour options, health and fitness data tracking, smart functionality, and so on.
We will make every effort to ensure that this list is as accurate as possible. However, we cannot guarantee absolute accuracy; before making a purchase, you should double-check the specifications on the manufacturer’s website. We will continue to add new brands and devices to this list as time goes on.
