Youpin is being used by Xiaomi to raise funds for a smartwatch that costs $14.

The affordable clock known as the Haylou LS01 is being crowdfunded by the tech company Xiaomi. While the device is visually comparable to the Apple Watch, it can be purchased for about $14 (99.9 Yuan)!

You can acquire the timepiece by utilising the Youpin platform that the company provides. This is a third-party item that was created by Xiaomi’s partner Haylou, as the name of the product suggests.

A square TFT LCD display of 1.3 inches with a resolution of 240 by 240 pixels is included with the Apple Watch knockoff, which weighs only 34 grammes. The case has the following measurements: 40.9 millimetres in length, 35.7 millimetres in width, and 11.6 millimetres in thickness. It comes with a smooth and comfortable silicone band that is swappable and measures 26.3 millimetres in width. Those who are interested have the choice of selecting between black or silver as their preference.

This is essentially a fitness watch, and it comes equipped with the essential intelligence for monitoring your activities around the clock. This includes reminders for your footsteps, distances, calories, pulse rate, and time spent sleeping and being sedentary. Strolling, sprinting, hiking, cycling, treadmill, fitness, mountain climbing, spinning, and yoga are the nine sports modes that are accessible. You can look at the information on the watch itself or on the Haylou Support app for either Android or iOS.

In addition to this, the Haylou LS01 will remind you of any notifications that you have. It may notify you of incoming calls, messages, and even more. In addition to that, there will be breathing exercises to help you maintain your cool.

It’s all powered by a 210 mAh battery, which has a run time of up to two weeks between charges and can operate continuously without being recharged (depending on use). The rating for waterproofing is IP68. Although this is not sufficient for swimming, the watch can withstand being submerged in water for half an hour at a depth of 1.5 metres.

This is not the first occasion that Xiaomi has used Youpin to crowdfund the creation of a smartwatch. At the beginning of this year, it formed a partnership with Yunmai in order to raise money for the $100 Xiaomi Yunmai. There are also rumblings that the tech behemoth is planning to launch its own smartwatch in the near future. In China, we should see the introduction of the LTE and NFC-capable Xiaomi Mi Watch by the end of this month.
