Cloud computing consists of the use of computing resources (hardware and software) that are provided as a service through a network. A company uses hardware and software from the cloud and is charged a price for the service.

Local PCs no longer have to do the “heavy lifting” when it comes to running network applications. Instead, the network of PCs that make up the cloud is the one that runs them. This lowers the hardware and software requirements of the user. The user’s PC must interact with the cloud through software, which can be a web browser, while the cloud network takes care of the rest.

Cloud computing is another global trend that is changing the way we access and store data. This trend encompasses all subscription or paid services based on real-time usage on the Internet. This system allows us to store personal files and even create backup copies of our entire hard drive on servers over the Internet. Using the cloud, you can access word processing and photo editing applications, among others.

For businesses, cloud computing expands IT capabilities without the need to invest in new infrastructure, new staff training, or new software licenses. These services are available on demand and cost-effective to any device anywhere in the world, without compromising safety or performance.

The term “cloud computing” specifically refers to web-based computing. Banking services, retail stores, and online music downloading are examples of cloud computing.

Generally, users can access cloud applications through a web browser and do not need to install any software on their end device. This allows many different types of devices to be connected to the cloud.
