Casio and Everlast collaborate on a hybrid inspired by boxing gloves

Fans of “the noble art” can now purchase a brand-new hybrid watch thanks to a partnership between Casio and Everlast.

For those who don’t know, Everlast, which has its headquarters in Manhattan, has been a well-known brand in the sport since 1910. It is the top producer, marketer, and licensee of boxing, MMA, and fitness equipment in the entire world. On the other hand, Casio, a leading international manufacturer of consumer electronics, is situated in Japan. Calculators, cell phones, digital cameras, electronic musical instruments, and digital watches are among its offerings.

The matte red hue, which is suggestive of boxing gloves, is the new G-SHOCK GBA800EL-4A’s most distinctive design feature. The Everlast logo, which is engraved on the back case, dial, and band, as well as the model’s LED backlight feature, which reveals a “Choice of Champions” theme, all add to the style.

Casio has collaborated with boxing retailer Everlast on a new hybrid watch.

The watch has some basic fitness features but no more sophisticated sensors, such as a heart rate monitor. Steps taken and calories burned will be recorded by its three-axis accelerometer. Additionally, the programme divides calories into five MET levels, or metabolic equivalents. Although it lacks a built-in GPS, the GBA800 will use the signal from your smartphone to show the precise position of where your steps were taken on a map.

Casio has collaborated on a new hybrid with legendary boxing company Everlast.

The hybrid allows you to set up to five daily alarms and includes a stopwatch and countdown timer. The rather tough device has shock resistance and 200 m water resistance, just like other G-SHOCK models.

When it debuts at the start of July, the GBA800 is anticipated to retail for $160. You may get it at as well as at stores like Macy’s and the G-Shock Soho Store.
