Casio's S Series combines the famously tough G-Shock look with a more feminine style

Casio has introduced the newest iteration of their G-Shock S Series of ultra-resistant smartwatches for women just in time for the arrival of spring.

The wristwatches are offered in a wide variety of color options, some of which are black, pastel pink, gray, and navy blue. Metallic embellishments on the watch faces draw attention to the new case and band colors, which complement each other well. The timepieces each have a single digital dial that is quite small and one analog display that is relatively large.

The S Series collection comprises the same rugged devices that have come to be expected from G-Shock products. Users will receive a design that is incredibly robust and is resistant to shock as well as water to a depth of 200 meters.

These are smartwatches with a focus on fitness, and they are created with the fashion-forward lady in mind. They come with the typical step tracking functionality, an automated step counter display, an activity graph of the preceding five hours, a non-active alarm, and several more features. The only sensor that is onboard is a three-axis accelerometer, so if you’re looking for more advanced vitals stats like your heart rate, you’ll be disappointed.

Each of the watches in the G-Shock S Series series can be purchased individually for $130 USD. They are currently available for purchase on the Casio website, and they will soon be made accessible at other retail locations.
