If you enjoy collecting Garmin Badges, June will be a busy month for you

Those who enjoy collecting Garmin badges will be delighted. At least six new ones will be available for download on Garmin Connect next month.

The badges aren’t yet visible in the smartphone app, but they are on the website dashboard. There are six in total, and they include activities such as walking, running, and biking.

If you’re collecting Garmin Badges, June will be a busy month.

Walking on the Weekend (June 5-7)

From June 5-7, you must walk 3 miles in a single activity to complete this challenge.

If you’re collecting Garmin Badges Ride to 100, June will be a busy month (June 8-14)

Between June 8th and 14th, get on your bike and ride 100 kilometers.

If you’re collecting Garmin Badges Weekend 10K, June will be a busy month (June 12-14)

From June 12th to 14th, run 10k in a single activity to earn this badge.

If you’re collecting Garmin Badges Weekend 40K, June will be a busy month (June 19-21)

Between June 19th and 21st, complete a 40-kilometer bike ride.

If you’re collecting Garmin Badges Major Miles, June will be a busy month (June 1-30)

If you increase your running activities by 100 miles in a month, you’ll get this one.

If you’re collecting Garmin Badges Fortnight 150K, June will be a busy month (June 15-28)

In 14 days, walk 150,000 steps. This equates to just over 11,000 per day.

Points will be awarded for these badges (1, 2 and 4 for 100 miles). It’s good to know that you can earn multiple badges by combining running and steps. It will be easier to collect the walking badges if you do most of your running in the second half of June.

Climbing badges have been updated.

A new set of badges for climbing activities has recently been added by the company (via Garmin Badges). The following are some of them:

If you collect Garmin Badges, June will be a busy month. Virtual Climb – The Narrows 2 pts • Record a floor climbing activity with 334 feet of ascent.

If you collect Garmin Badges Virtual Climb – Druid Arch 4 pts • Record a floor climbing activity with 735 feet of ascent, June will be a busy month.

If you collect Garmin Badges Virtual Climb – Mist Trail 4 pts • Record a floor climbing activity with 1,000 feet of ascent, June will be a busy month.

If you collect Garmin Badges, June will be a busy month. Virtual Climb – Angels Landing 4 pts • Record a floor climbing activity with 1,500 feet of ascent.

If you thought you’d be able to earn all of the climbing badges in one go, think again. Each one can only be obtained through a distinct activity. So if you climb 1,500 meters, you’ll only get the highest badge and not the others.

Finally, Global Running Day 2020 is on the 3rd, so don’t forget to register for that as well. The badge isn’t visible yet, but it will be soon.
