Hey there, plus Getting started
To get started, you’ll need to download the Mi Fit app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, search for the watch using Bluetooth, and then customise the settings to your satisfaction.
A 0.95-inch variant with an AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 240 x 120 pixels and a 0.78-inch model with the same AMOLED display and resolution are available. Both are the first coloured displays in the company’s history.
Hey Plus for Fitness Tracking
Aside from monitoring time, the Hey Plus can track your heart rate, steps taken, distance traveled, number of floors climbed, and calories burned. It can also keep track of your swimming speed, jogging distance, cycling speed, how high you climb, how long you’ve slept, and your sleep cycle. The wristwatch has an IP67 water resistance classification, which means it can withstand being submerged for 30 minutes at a depth of 50 metres. This means you won’t have to worry about it not working on rainy days, when swimming or showering, or if someone spills juice on it at a party.
It’s Voice Assistant Enabled
With just your voice, you can make calls, send messages and emails, check the weather, keep track of your appointments and to-do lists, get directions, set timers, alarms, and reminders, play music, and much more.
But wait, there’s more… The Hey Plus also has NFC, so you can use it to make payments using WeChat Pay and Alipay, as well as unlock hotel and apartment doors by simply holding it close to the lock.
However, it isn’t without flaws. It can be paired with iPhones and most Android phones, but not with Windows phones. Because Xiaomi hasn’t developed its own operating system and doesn’t have built-in cellular capabilities, it must be utilized with a smartphone.
